Steve joined Locati Architects in 1991 with a strong background in construction, and now adds numerous years of architectural experience to the firm. He began developing his artistic ability at a very early age, and over the years received numerous awards for exceptional creativity.
While in the U.S. Army, Steve served as a Graphic Support Specialist further developing his skills. After completing his military career, he attended Montana State University and earned a Masters of Architecture. Steve frequently serves as a juror on MSU student projects, which allows for a working relationship with promising architectural interns. This relationship helps to maintain the exceptional intern program in existence at Locati Architects.

As a Montana native and an avid outdoorsman, Steve appreciates the natural beauty and simplicity of the Montana lifestyle. These ideas and beliefs are reflected in the quality of his unique and energetic architectural designs.
