Jerry Locati, a native Montanan and graduate of Montana State University, formed Locati Architects in 1989. Since its inception, Locati Architects has experienced remarkable growth in staff and clientele. With our significant presence in Bozeman, Big Sky, and well beyond, Locati Architects has set the tone for regional design of the finest quality. With longtime collaborators Steve Locati, Kyle Tage and Greg Dennee as partners, the ability to pair the best suited design team to each new project allows for greater flexibility with outstanding results.
Locati Architects prides itself on creative and thorough collaboration between the client, architect, builder and interior designer. Among the staff of over thirty employees, we have licensed architects, architects in training, interior designers and CAD technicians, most of whom are architectural graduates from MSU’s acclaimed School of Architecture. Our project managers offer extensive experience and understanding on all scales of residential and commercial ventures ranging from quaint cabins to projects exceeding $100,000,000.
One of our keys to success is a dedication to remain on the leading edge of computer technology. We are continually educating our technicians and architects through periodic training to enable full utilization of the software and a direct link between design intent and detailed construction documents. Through comprehensive design development, we minimize time required during construction and avoid improvised field decisions that can result in delays and design compromise.
